Alice Davies Architecture is located in Melbourne’s inner north. and was established in 2020. As a design focused architectural studio, we deep dive in to our exploration of the opportunities offered by sites and the ways in which they embody physical, cultural and historical contexts. While delivering the aspirations of our clients, we create projects that are highly considered, environmentally responsive and uniquely delightful.

The studio is led by Alice Davies, a rigorous, collaborative designer who revels in crafting spaces that elevate and enhance everyday rituals through an inventive approach to space, light and materials. Alice is committed to creating innovative projects that are tailored to the specific nature of the site, and the unique qualities of the people who occupy it. Alice is  experienced in creating buildings that are environmentally sustainable through passive solar design strategies, considered material selections and integration of progressive environmentally positive technologies.

Alice has gained abundant local and international experience across a range of project scales and types. Prior to establishing Alice Davies Architecture, Alice worked with a number of practices in Melbourne, Shanghai and in the UK and has delivered award winning projects of exceptional quality in residential, affordable housing, education, and institutional sectors.
